Miracles Can Happen.

Pick a target and commit to it! Sometimes miracles happen, and the ball goes in! James @ the golfinstitute has a few miracles in this short clip.

Consistency

Add some consistency to your golf game by taking advantage of our one hour GAME ASSESSMENT.  For more, long term coaching, we offer a variety of lesson packages to suit your goals.  Also, be sure to have a look at our Adult Group Programs, and sign up today.

Mark Burke, Director of Coaching of The Golf Institute at Fraserview (TGIF), talks about how to become a more consistent golfer. Before changing your swing, take a good look at how you address a golf ball with respect to a target. Become consistent at setting up to your target and you’ll find that you’ll gain more control and consistency of your golf ball.

Discover How To Generate POWER

Watch the video below to see James, a golf coach at The Golf Institute at Fraserview, throw objects towards a target. Wouldn’t you agree that if you explored how to throw an object further in a golf swing motion, you could take the sensations from that excercise and apply them into your golf game?

Join us in June 12 and 26 from 1 pm to 2:30. to discover creative ways of generating more power in your golf swing.  Each workshop will be an hour and a half in length and the cost is only $25.

Be sure to check out the new dates for our Adult Group Programs as well as information on our Junior Summer Camps.

Take Dead Aim

What causes your ball to curve from left to right when you’re trying to hit the ball straight at the flag?  How do the pro’s shape their shots in order to get out of trouble or access a tough pin location?  Why is it, that when I’m on the practice range my ball does one thing, yet on the golf course this uncontrollable slice shows up?  Having a sense of direction in golf is a fairly important element to the game, so this is why we are dedicating the month of May to direction.  Join us at The Golf Institute at Fraserview for an informative one hour workshop dedicated to the artful skill of sending your golf ball to a target. May’s workshop is called “Take Dead Aim” and you’ll discover the cuases and effects of what makes a ball go in a particular direction.  Our workshops are designed in such a way, so that you the participant can learn through exploring your own game, sharing experiences with others, or simply sit back and observe.

Practice With Purpose

During the month of April The Golf Institute at Fraserview is offering workshops on how to practice effectively.  The workshop is called Practice With Purpose – Practice Like The Pros.  As a participant, you’ll learn how to practice with: intention, focus and concentration and how to transfer your range game to the golf course.  The coaching staff will also give you some ideas on how to warm up before a round of golf, such as exercises to loosen the body, rolling some putts to determine the pace of the greens and making the right amount of swings on the practice tee, so that when you make the walk to the first tee your feeling good and confident.  The cost is only $10, and there are still 2 dates remaining Tuesday April 20 from 6 to 7 pm or  Saturday April 24 from 10 to 11 am.  To find out more click here Practice With Purpose.
